"Gauguin
on the Columbia" |
|
|
|
| Years ago I had a floating restaurant on The Columbia River. It was
a 24-foot catamaran vessel called "The Gazeboat". It's flat
bottom allowed me to drive up on any sandy beach where sunbathers
lay, set out my hot dog and coke stand, and open for business. This
painting combines aspects of my Gazeboat days with my love of the
works of Gauguin. |
