Many years ago I saw a
person holding a white rabbit. It was a beautiful image of
caring for and protecting something you love. The
person in the painting is different from the one that I saw, but
the feeling is the same. That’s what stayed with me.
That feeling of loving-kindness.
The original painting is part of the permanent art collection of
St. Charles Hospital in Bend, Oregon.
