The
scene is a sweat lodge. 7 red hot stones are brought into the center
to begin the purification ceremonies. The first four stones stand for
the four directions. The 5th and 6th stone stand for Up and Down or
Above and Below. The 7th Stone stands for you- the individual- and
the space you now occupy in the center of those directions. The deer
is the intermediary- the human guide that connects with the
spirit/nature world and leads the prayers and patterns of the
ceremony. |
